Hygiene

English below

We all hope to be able partying again in 2022 without any restrictions like in the good old days. In an extreme case, however, we will have to implement our hygiene and test concept for the Indian Spirit 2021 in the same way again in 2022. This is what our concept for the Indian Spirit 2021 looked like. Read it through and be prepared for all eventualities.

How Many Participants May Come To The Indian Spirit Festival 2021?

There are 15,000 participants allowed at the Indian Spirit 2021. This includes employees, DJs, stewards. So about 14,500 visitors are on site at the same time.

Is There An Infection Control And Hygiene Concept?

Yes! The Indian Spirit Festival 2021 has been approved by the responsible authorities on the basis of the infection control and hygiene concept submitted by us. This concept defines various measures that will be applied depending on the current pandemic situation.

Which Infection Control And Hygiene Rules Will Apply At The Indian Spirit 2021?

We distinguish between measures that must happen BEFORE the event and measures that happen AT the event. We also distinguish between measures that apply to all participants and measures that only apply to some of the visitors. Most of the measures we will set up organizationally, a few you will have to or can implement personally. What does this mean in concrete terms?

Who Has Access To The Event?

We have a requirement that the 3G rule applies to admission to the event, only fully vaccinated, demonstrably recovered or currently tested visitors may be admitted. We have to check this before admission. To avoid endless queues and hours of waiting time at the entrance, we will check this before you arrive.

For this purpose, we use an event portal where you have to upload the necessary proofs before your arrival. In this portal we will link your proofs with your ticket using “GreenCheck”. Erst wenn wir Only with successful GreenCheck we can set your ticket to „green“. After that you are allowed to arrive and to drive on to the campsite at the box offices. könnt an der Autokasse auf den Campingplatz fahren oder das Gelände betreten.

To enter the event portal, you must first verify your ticket. Use the following link: indianspirit21.eventportal.io.

After your ticket has been successfully verified, the system will redirect you to a menu where you will also find the GreenCheck. The portal will lead you through the further steps to get your proof linked to your ticket.

When Am I Fully Vaccinated?

In Germany, a person is considered „fully vaccinated“ if he or she can show proof of vaccination in paper or digital form if at least 14 days have passed since the last required individual vaccination. The completeness of the vaccination protection can vary depending on the vaccine. An overview of vaccines and required vaccine doses can be found here: www.pei.de/impfstoffe/covid-19.

So, if you have such a certificate of complete vaccination, we may accept this certificate as proof. You upload this vaccination certificate into our event portal (more here: indianspirit21.eventportal.io).

When Am I Demonstrably Revocered?

Convalescents require proof in accordance with the Protective Measures Exemption Ordinance of the Federal Republic of Germany. This is a positive PCR test result, where at the time of the event the sample was taken at least 28 days, but no more than 6 months ago.

For the Indian Spirit 2021 this means: the earliest test day is 28/02/2021, the latest test day is 25/07/2021.

So if you can show such a certificate of positive PCR test result for which the test was done between 28/02/2021 and 25/07/2021, we may accept this certificate as proof. You upload this positive test certificate to our event portal for GreenCheck (more here: indianspirit21.eventportal.io).

When Am I Currently Tested?

A current test proof is a proof that you are not infected with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 („negative proof“). We need such a proof in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish language in paper or digital form.

However, at Indian Spirit 2021, we do not accept rapid antigen tests as negative proof. Their results are always only a snapshot and not reliable enough to exclude infections on multi-day events as far as possible. Moreover, they cannot be offered free of charge for events like this.

Therefore, we have decided to implement a PCR testing concept that consists of 2 steps.

Our PCR Test Concept For Not Vaccinated Or Not Recovered People

We implement the PCR test concept with our partner Ingenium Labs.

If you want to take the test at a different time, it would be possible, but you will have to expect waiting times. When you take the test, your identity will be checked by the testing partner as part of our regulatory requirements, so that we can be sure that the test result really matches the ticket holder. For more information, please contact our partner Ingenium Labs here:

What Do I Have To Do With My PCR Test Level 1 (Pre-Test)?

This depends on when you plan to arrive. You will receive the test result from the previous day around 4pm the day after the test. So please take your test in time so that you can upload the test result to our event portal and do the GreenCheck before you arrive.

From Ingenium Labs you will receive a digital certificate as a PDF, which you can upload directly into our GreenCheck system. Only then we can activate your ticket for access. You can also use this certificate at other places where you need to prove a test, e.g. at the hotel, pension or camping site.

You can get to the event portal after you have verified your ticket. Read more hereindianspirit21.eventportal.io).

PCR On-Site Test (Level 2): What Kind Of Test Is This?

The PCR on-site test of our partner Ingenium Labs is performed as a gargle or lollipop test. So, no stick in the nose here either! It is performed as a pool test, 5 samples are collected and then evaluated together.

PCR On-Site Test (Level 2): How Do I Get The Result And What Do I Do With It?

It takes 12-16 hours until your on-site test is evaluated. Until then, your pre-test is still valid, so you can continue partying after making the on-site test until your result is available. From Ingenium Labs we will receive a result transmission into the ticket system directly, after which we extend the validity of your ticket in case of a negative test result until the end of the event. You will receive a digital certificate in PDF format as a copy, which you can also use in other places where you have to show a test result, e.g. in the hotel, in the guesthouse or on the camping site.

My Level 2 Test Is Positive, What Now? Confirmation Test

Our ticketing system will notify you via SMS, if your on-site test is evaluated positive. Then you need to come back to the test station at the campsite. At the same time, at all access points where your wristband is scanned, you will notice that the light is red. The steward at this position will approach you and ask you to put on a mask for the protection of the other visitors and to go to the test center.

At the test center, an individual point-of-care PCR rapid test will then be performed, which usually takes 90 minutes to evaluate. During this time, you will unfortunately have to stay in the waiting area of the testing center, because it is possible that you are actually infected and could infect other visitors.

If the confirmation test is negative, we will update your ticket status, and you can continue your festival visit. If it is positive, you will unfortunately have to end your festival visit, and we will have to inform the responsible health authorities at your place of residence and at the festival location. From them you will receive further instructions by phone.

Test Ticket Purchase

On your arrival day you will have to take another test, the On-Site test. As this test will be conducted by our partner Ingenium Labs, please buy a so-called test ticket for this test at Ingenium Labs in advance. You need this test ticket to be able taking the test on site. If you arrive between Wednesday 6pm and Thursday 6pm, you will have to take a second On-Site test on Saturday. Please get your test ticket in time at Ingenium Labs. You can buy two test tickets for the On-Site test in one order.

If you also want to get the PCR Pre-Test which you need before you arrive, cheaper from our partner Ingenium Labs, please buy your test ticket as early as possible in advance. You will be allocated a testing time at the testing partner’s location automatically. You will also receive a test ticket, which you must then present to the test partner on the day of the test.

You can book your test tickets here: https://www.ingenium-labs.de/indianspirit/?l=de

Check-In And Festival Wristband

When you arrive, we will check your ticket status at the ticket office. If you have successfully uploaded your vaccination or convalescent proof or your negative PCR-pre-test result into our event portal and if we have accepted this proof after GreenCheck, your ticket is set to status „green“ and eligible for entry. You will then receive your festival wristband, which, new this year, contains an RFID chip. This chip is linked to your ticket and thus has your GreenCheck information stored. The festival wristband serves as the sole access authorization at all access points. If your GreenCheck status is not clarified when you arrive, we will not be able to let you into the campsite for the time being cleared. We will try to solve your problem at the clearing station. This is located directly at the box offices.

Which Rules You Have To Follow At Our Event?

Auch wenn diese Prozedur kompliziert klingt: es ermöglicht euch einen Aufenthalt auf dem Festival unter fast normalen Bedingungen:
  • At the event, you do not need to wear a mask in most areas and most importantly, not on the dance floors! However, we recommend that you wear a mask in all areas where it is difficult to keep your distance, including on the walkways, queues (e.g. at food and drink stands, at the entrance gates and when visiting the shower and toilet facilities).

  • You do not have to keep a minimum distance in most areas during your stay at the festival, especially not on the dance floors! Nevertheless, we recommend you to keep the minimum distance in all areas where it is possible. The minimum distance is obligatory in all queues at food stands. In order for us to keep this regulation, we have to make the area very spacious, so don’t be surprised about the spaciousness. Everyone should have the possibility to keep distance if he/she wants to.

  • At all entrances and exits, at food stands and on the major walkways, there are signs showing you the correct route. Please pay attention to them.

  • We have significantly expanded the toilet facilities for you this year: There are more toilet stations in the camping area, and the toilet facilities in the festival area are all water-flushed.

  • The common general hygiene rules still apply: Please wash your hands frequently and thoroughly, use the numerous hygiene dispensers distributed on the premises and observe the cough and sneeze etiquette.

Please also pay attention to the friendly reminders of the stewards, if you ever get a hint at one or the other place. We all can only party safely if everyone participates! . .

Shopping At Sight

If you need to shop in town, we recommend that mainly the vaccinated and recovered visitors go shopping and those who need to be tested stay on the festival grounds. The vaccinated and recovered visitors are much better protected from infection, if it comes to contact with others outside the festival grounds. Please try to follow this recommendation as well.

Who Needs To Perform A PCR Test?

Everyone who is not vaccinated and not recovered may only arrive with a negative PCR test. For you our PCR test concept below applies. Please read it carefully. Vaccinated and recovered visitors do not have to take a test. Those who nevertheless wish to voluntarily take a test in advance may of course do so.
